Cardinal Hayes students discuss black history at ‘The Conversation’ assembly

While some classrooms may have been filled with love notes and Valentine’s Day treats, Cardinal Hayes students took to the auditorium to partake in a conversation about black history.
The assembly, dubbed “The Conversation,” was an open discussion about the black experience and black history.
A panel discussion featured church and community members, as well as students and parent of alumni.
The goal of the event was to make sure black history is celebrated every day, not just the month of February.
