THE BRONX -

The suspect wanted for firing shots on a Bronx sidewalk has been taken into police custody.

Police believe the shooting may have been gang-related, saying the incident started with a dispute between a Manhattan crew and a Highbridge gang. They say the suspect recklessly shot down Gerard Avenue last Friday afternoon, almost striking multiple people, including a young girl who was seen running for cover.
