MORRISANIA -

At least four people are in police custody after a shooting in Morrisania Saturday morning.

A 22-year-old man was shot in the neck inside of 594 East 167th Street just after 9 a.m, police say. He was rushed to Lincoln Hospital in critical condition.

The man was shot after getting into a fight with a group of men, police say.

Neighbors tell News 12 that the basement of the house is used as an after-hours night club. News 12 has not been able to confirm that the basement is, in fact, an underground club.

Police have not yet released the charges facing those taken into custody.

News 12 saw officers putting a group of visibly angry men in handcuffs into a police van.
