Police release new video of teen wanted for violent Claremont robbery

CLAREMONT -

Police have released a new video of a teen wanted in connection to a violent robbery that happened on Feb. 1 in Claremont.

Police say the suspect boarded the bus on Third Avenue near East 168th Street, grabbed a 21-year-old's cellphone and ran off the bus.

When that person chased the suspect down, police say the suspect stabbed the victim in the armpit with a sharp object.

The victim was taken to the hospital in stable condition.

The suspect is believed to be about 19 years old.
