Young Bronx residents step out against gun violence in Pelham Bay

Posted: Updated:
PELHAM BAY -

Some Bronx residents came out this week in Pelham Bay to say no to gun violence and to raise awareness.

It was all part of a “Youth Over Guns” initiative to try to put an end to gun violence across the country.

One organizer says it’s important for the younger generation to take a stand against gun violence.

Organizers say the event was in conjunction with the Women's March Youth Empowers: Youth Week of Action.
