The Powerball jackpot is still up for grabs, but one lucky person who bought a ticket in the Bronx did win second prize this weekend.

That lucky ticket-holder is now the winner of $1 million, which is second place in the Powerball drawing.

Whoever won was one number shy of winning $625 million, the jackpot last Saturday.  

The second-place ticket was purchased underneath the Pelham Bay Park subway station.

This ticket joins another $1 million prize winner in Brooklyn, along with six others across the country.

All of them missed the magic Powerball which would have awarded them the grand prize.

The next Powerball drawing is on Wednesday. The grand prize is now at least $750 million, the fourth largest prize in United States history.
