Bronx seniors get creative with wheelchairs & walkers

Some seniors at the ArchCare Senior Life Center in the Bronx are finding new ways to create art by using items they depend on every day.
The seniors use paint on the wheels of their wheelchairs, walkers and canes to create colorful murals.
The program is organized through the Archdiocese of New York, and each roll and stroke is meant to be a form of therapy.
Seniors can create murals or art in just a matter of hours.
"I revisit my childhood again,” says one senior.
Art therapist Kyla Berry says the program allows seniors to feel a little less inhibitive, more creative and gives everyone an opportunity to see that you can be differently abled and still participate in activities like this.
