MOTT HAVEN -

Police are looking for two people involved in beating a man unconscious.

Police say they are searching for a man and a woman who beat a 52-year-old man so bad he was left with a fractured skull.

Surveillance video captured the entire attack that happened on March 24 around 1 a.m.

Police say the victim was walking when he was approached by a man and woman on the corner of Park Avenue and East 140th Street. That is when surveillance video shows the attacker start to punch the victim to the ground, while authorities say the woman stood as a lookout.

Officials say even after the man punched the victim to the floor he continued to kick and strike him in the face until he lost consciousness.

Both individuals fled the scene. First responders rushed the man to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln where police say he suffered a fractured skull and remains in critical condition.

Detectives say the man was last seen wearing dark clothes with a red baseball bat and the woman wearing a blue hooded sweater with white and black sneakers.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
