Training gym in Bushwick attracts aspiring aerial artists

It may not be the typical 9-to-5 job, but training to be an aspiring aerial performer is no easy task.
The Muse Brooklyn in Bushwick has become a home away from home for performers around the city.
Many aspiring aerial artists and performers come to the Bushwick training facility to hone their craft.
Georgia Cross, a student at the New School and an aspiring aerial performer, takes full advantage of the facility.
“I am constantly trying to balance paying rent being a student and training,” says Cross.
Cross does so by going to the center three days a week, reaching new heights, and, of course, putting in grueling work.
“I do conditioning, I do flexibility, I’m constantly cross-training, going to the gym, making sure I’m in peek condition,” says Cross.
