Thursday marks the start of Bronx Borough Week, the annual celebration of the best the Boogie Down has to offer.
The festivities include honoring some of the borough's role models with Bronx Hall of Fame inductions. Musician Regina Spektor, scientist Carolyn Porco and boxer Iran Barkley were chosen as this year's inductees.
There's also a parade, an international food festival and a concert with Bronx acts. Headlining this year's concert is Fat Joe and the Terror Squad, and Funk Master Flex.
Those who can't make it to the concert can still enjoy some Bronx jams. For the first time ever, Bronx Week has an official Spotify playlist that includes Bronx performers like Cardi B and more.
Bronx Borough Week has been a celebration of all things Bronx for 48 years.
