‘It’s a mess:’ Potholes at Spuyten Duyvil station causes headaches for riders

Commuters are frustrated with potholes located at the Spuyten Duyvil Metro-North station.
Some people, like Stephen DeFransesco, use the station to travel to Manhattan every day and say the potholes are especially bad in the parking lot.
"It's rather dangerous actually," DeFransesco says. "The buses pitch very drastically back and forth going through these potholes and when it rains, it's just even worse. It's a mess."
Representatives for the MTA tell News 12 that it's the Department of Transportation's responsibility to take care of potholes.
The DOT said in a statement to News 12: "DOT recently repaired potholes there last month. DOT will continue to monitor and make repairs to this street, as well as look into the possibility of including it into a future resurfacing schedule."
