Arrest of Bronx man leads to discovery of arsenal of guns

THE BRONX -

An arrest made by police in connection to a domestic violence incident led to the discovery of an arsenal of guns.

On May 15, 47-year-old Charles Figueroa was arrested on domestic violence charges and found to be in possession of a 40-caliber hand gun and knives.

On May 16 and 17, search warrants were executed for his home in the Bronx and another location in New Jersey, uncovering other firearms.

Figueroa has only been charged for the domestic violence incident and possession of the 40-caliber hand gun and knives.

A separate investigation was launched regarding the other weapons found.
