Police: Woman injured in Oyster Bay boating accident

OYSTER BAY -

A Memorial Day weekend celebration on the water in Oyster Bay ended with a trip to the hospital for one woman.

Police say the woman was rushed to the hospital after her arm was cut by a boat propeller.

The incident happened just before 12 p.m. near West End Avenue.

Police tell News 12 the woman was going to be airlifted to the hospital, but then became conscious and alert.
