Police: 2 suspects threaten and rob 13-year-old in Wakefield

Police are on the hunt for two suspects after a teenager was threatened and robbed in Wakefield.

It happened around 5 p.m. on May 13 while the teen was walking home from school.

According to police, the 13-year-old was walking near Nereid and Wilder avenues when he was approached by two men.

The victim tells investigators one of the men said he had a gun and demanded his things. The men only got away with the victim's cellphone.

The men wanted for questioning are believed to be in their early 20s.

Police say the victim was not injured.

Anyone with information is asked to call police.
