A Bronx father is facing serious charges after he allegedly slashed his son's throat.

Police say 43-year-old Carlos Camilo faces multiple charges of attempted murder, assault, child endangerment and others after police say he slashed his son's throat.

It all took place Tuesday around 11 p.m.

According to officials, when they arrived at the home on Irwin Avenue they found a 12-year-old boy with a slit on his throat. According to published reports, Camilo got into an argument with his wife and that’s when he started to attack his son.

The Daily News reports the wife was the one who called 911.

Reports say his 18-year-old daughter was also attacked. The father was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital where police say he remains.

As for the 12-year-old boy, News 12 is told he's stable at the hospital.
