Police: Woman's son kills her boyfriend in Williamsbridge

Police have released the identity of the victim in Monday's deadly stabbing in Williamsbridge.

Police have released the identity of the victim in Monday's deadly stabbing in Williamsbridge.
Police tell News 12 that 60-year-old Jose Garcia was fatally stabbed by the son of his girlfriend.
Police say 23-year-old Arian Medina and Garcia lived in a Williamsbridge apartment on East 22nd Street where Garcia’s body was found Monday around 8:30 a.m. Police they Medina's mother also lived in the apartment. 
They say Garcia was unconscious and unresponsive when they arrived, and that his torso was covered in stab wounds. EMS pronounced the 60-year-old dead at the scene.
Investigators say Medina called the police himself.
Police say it all stemmed from an argument between the two. Neighbors tell News 12 that Garcia was a good person who will be missed.
Police have confirmed that Medina has been charged with murder, but the investigation into exactly what happened is ongoing.
