Earlier this month, Brianna Westbrook – the current Vice Chair for the Arizona Democratic Party – requested some dining recommendations from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez.

After the tweet hit the web, MangiPasta owner and chef Auroar Cerrato says business has been booming.

The same has been happening at Taqueria Tlaxcalli.

Both restaurants are in her district.

"Ever since she mentioned the restaurant, I can say there has been a different crowd that has come in because of her," says Rosa Gomez, of Taqueroa Tlaxcalli.
