There are so many great places to check out across the borough during the summer, but one place stands out.
The Bronx Zoo has been a staple of the borough since its opening 120 years ago.
The 265 acres have been home to some of the most recognizable, and also unique, animals on the planet.
This summer there's a lot going on at the zoo, from the 20th anniversary of Congo Gorilla Forest to the Dinosaur Safari, where you can interact with the prehistoric creatures.
The Bronx Zoo is open seven days a week through Nov. 2, and admission is free on Wednesdays.
