THE BRONX -

Police are searching for a pair wanted in connection to a robbery pattern in the Bronx.

The two men approached their first victims with a gun on 187th Street and Prospect Avenue in Belmont, police say.

On June 30, the suspects walked up to a 27-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman around 4 a.m. demanding their things. News 12 the Bronx is told the suspects got away with the victims' cellphones and a necklace.

Thirty minutes later, the duo headed over to the Claremont neighborhood where authorities say they threatened three other victims standing by Selwyn Avenue and 173rd Street. They struck two men with a gun before getting away with two cellphones and $180.

Investigators say in both cases, they fled in a gray vehicle. One of the men is described to have a beard with short hair, and was last seen wearing a shirt saying "Bulls." The other man was last seen wearing camouflage shorts and vest.

Anyone with tips on this case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
