Hunts Point resident says people make loud, disruptive noise late at night

Residents in Hunts Point are fed up with cars piling into area streets, creating a ruckus weekend after weekend.
Kathy, who did not want to give her full name or appear on camera, say vehicles with massive speakers are sounding off into the early hours of the morning.
"When you look out the window and see that many vehicles out there, it is just chaotic," says Kathy. "It was over 25 cars and people literally in front of the house."
During normal business hours, the area around Viele Avenue and Tiffany Street is heavily traveled, but News 12 is told after 6 p.m., it's usually pretty quiet.
But on weekends, Kathy says the corner has "extremely loud music" beginning around 11 p.m. until 5:30 a.m. Friday through Sunday.
Kathy says she has been calling 911 and 311 for the past year, but little has been done. News 12 reached out to police, and the commanding office says they are aware and are addressing the situation.
