A local artist has been making a name for himself, selling his work so some of the world's biggest musicians.

Thanks to social media, Dex has delivered his art to rappers like Drake and T.I.

Dex recently took a short break from painting superstars to honor Lesandro "Junior" Guzman-Feliz, a Belmont teen who was brutally killed outside of a bodega last year.

"I had a dream I was in his family's home and I got to have a brief conversation with Junior and it was very impacting," Dex said. "Because when I woke up, I remembered everything."

He made a jacket with Junior's picture on the back with the words "Junior forever" inscribed. He gave the jacket to Junior's sister.

Dex says he wants to expand art programs for children across New York and wants to uplift others through his art and attitude.
