A new app that uses artificial intelligence to show what people will look like when they get older may pose a security concern for users.

FaceApp has allowed both famous people and ordinary citizens get a glimpse of themselves in the future.

"It's kind of funny to see what you'll look like when you get old," says Kristi Corrie. "I don't want to get old if I have to look like this."

The app was created by the Russian company, Wireless Labs, and gives the business ownership of the photos used.

Technology experts say that Wireless Labs could be sharing the pictures with anyone.

"I think the biggest concern might be if your face ended up in an ad somewhere," says Lance Ulanoff, editor-in-chief of lifewire.com.

Ulanoff says there is only a small chance photos will end up in an ad, and that there is always a risk when things are shared online.

Experts recommend reading the terms of service before giving any company or app access to personal information.
