NFL: QB Mark Sanchez retiring after 8 years

NEW YORK -

Former New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez is retiring after 10 seasons in the NFL, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.

Sanchez, who starred in one of the greatest fumble bloopers in NFL history, is reportedly taking a college football analyst job at ABC/ESPN.

 He was most currently a quarterback for the Washington Redskins.
