Police: MTA bus driver on BX35 bus sprayed with unknown substance

THE BRONX -

Police say an MTA bus driver was sprayed with an unknown substance on a BX35 bus.

News 12 is told the suspect approached the driver's side window on the bus on West 169th Street and sprayed the substance onto the driver's face before running away.

The driver was transported to the hospital for treatment. No arrests have been made so far.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
