THROGS NECK -

A Throgs Neck resident who says he had items stolen from his car is urging drivers to be cautious in the area.

Rob Davenport says he was leaving his home for an early morning shift Thursday when he noticed his car door was open and his belongings were taken.

He then checked surveillance video and saw someone rummaging through the vehicle at around 2:45 a.m.

Davenport says he forgot to lock his car overnight, but luckily nothing too costly was stolen.
