Residents celebrated their Dominican pride on the Grand Concourse Sunday with the annual Bronx Dominican Day Parade.
The parade has been a staple in the community for the past 30 years.
The NYPD Bronx Borough Patrol tweeted a picture notifying the public Sunday, that officers will be at posts throughout the borough, working to ensure that everyone attending stays safe.
Thousands were in attendance last year, watching various bands and dancers perform live. The event also had local politicians and guest speakers.
