Police released clear video of one of the suspects accused of shooting 51-year-old Robert Griggs and the community is expressing their concerns.
The incident happened on July 25 around 8 p.m. in front of 952 Sherman Ave.
Last week, News 12 spoke with the family of 51-year-old Roberts Griggs, who says he was playing dominoes with three friends when he was shot in the back.
According to police, two men started to shoot at each other and Griggs was caught in the crossfire.
Residents claim police used excessive force the night of the shooting and are demanding respect.
A protest took place on Sunday and Griggs had some words for the suspects.
"Put the guns down. There's a better way," Griggs said.
The video shows one suspect ducking behind a car, then seconds later running down Sherman Avenue with a gun aiming at the other suspect running away. Bullets went flying striking the innocent Griggs in the back.
Griggs told News 12 that once he recovers he will continue playing dominoes with his friends.
He was transported to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln in stable condition.
Since speaking with the father of 11, News 12 is told Griggs is recovering.
Authorities are now offering up to $2,500 reward with any information on this case.
