A school uniform store has extended its hours in anticipation for the back to school rush.
There was a steady line at Flynn O'Hara's Monday, the Westchester County shop that serves hundreds of schools in the New York City Area. The store has uniforms for high schoolers and for young children.
The day after last year's Labor Day, 1,000 customers came to the doors at the last minute to get their outfits. Patron Rhonda says she's seen the line to the store stretch across the entire block in the past.
The store has about 75 Bronx students working there to help others prepare for the first day of school.
The store is open from 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday through Friday, and until 6:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
