Co-defendant in Cardi B's assault case facing federal charges

A co-defendant in Cardi B's stripclub assault case is now facing federal drug charges.
Jeffrey Bush, of Brooklyn, was arrested Thursday morning at his residence in Williamsburg.
Bush is an alleged member of the 5-9 Brims set of the Bloods street gang. The 35-year-old is accused of trafficking 280 grams of crack cocaine around Williamsburg between February and August.
Bush was ordered detained in prison because he was considered a flight risk and a danger to the community. His attorney declined to comment after the trial.
Bush is expected back in court on Sept. 10. If convicted, Bush faces 10 years to life in prison.
