Police: Employee slashes customer in dispute over money at Allerton restaurant

A patron at a restaurant in the Bronx was allegedly slashed by an employee during an argument over money.
Police say the employee was caught on camera waving two knives, pacing back and forth outside the Country Boyz restaurant on East Gun Hill Road back in July.
The 41-year-old victim told authorities he was at the restaurant when he got into an argument with the worker over money.
Police say the dispute quickly escalated, and that is when the employee went into the kitchen and returned with a knife, slashing the victim in the left arm.
Shortly after, News 12 is told the employee ran off and has not been seen since. The employee is potentially facing at least one assault charge.
The customer was taken to the hospital and treated for cuts to his arm.
Another employee at the restaurant told News 12 that the customer pushed the employee first.
Police are offering a $2,500 reward for leads on the suspect's location.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.
