7 hospitalized, dozens looking for shelter after massive Grand Concourse fire

Firefighters are on the scene of an apartment building fire on the Grand Concourse.

Seven people are hospitalized and dozens are looking for shelter after a massive fire broke out Tuesday on the Grand Concourse.
Fire officials say two of the seven people taken to the hospital are sheriffs and the other five are firefighters. Officials say all of them are expected to be OK. A woman who is currently nine months' pregnant was in her first-floor apartment during the terrifying moments.
Officials say the fire started around 4:20 pm. at 1454 Grand Concourse, a six-story apartment building.
The Red Cross has been on scene working with residents. They say so far they are providing housing for three families. As for the rest, officials are working to see how many can go back into their homes.
Officials are investigating the cause of the fire.
