Police: Man tries to sexually assault woman in Parkchester

Police say they're searching for a man who tried to sexually assault a woman in Parkchester.

They say the incident happened near Leland Avenue and Archer Street on Aug. 31. Police say a 25-year-old woman was walking down the street when a man approached her and asked for her phone number.

When she refused, police say the man pulled her to the side of a parked car and started kissing her neck.

The woman was able to get away.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS.
