Brooklyn man publishes book in memory of his mother

Posted: Updated:

A Brooklyn man is helping his late mother achieve her dreams of becoming an author.

Jason Solomon has published a children's book to help bring his mother's story to life. Michele Solomon lost her battle with cancer in 2018 before she had the chance to publish the story she had written.

Jason teamed up with publishers and illustrators to produce "The Adventures of Hardy The Horse."

"For her, it would be a dream come true. So for me, in a lot of ways, it is also. Once I got that first copy, of the book and I saw her name on it in print, it meant the world to me because I knew what it would've meant to her, and if she were here now she would be over the moon about it," said Solomon.

The book is available on Amazon and also at Barnes and Noble online. Michelle's son is hoping to one day have the book in schools and libraries.
