The Williamsbridge Oval Recreational Center is offering free yoga classes. This is part of City Parks Foundation's senior fitness program.
Carmen Kurtz has been coming to the classes for the past few years. She says it keeps her moving.
There are also fitness walking instruction and tennis classes available. All of the equipment is provided and it is offered twice a week for seniors age 60 and up.
Instructor Richard Barcia says it's a great way for folks to socialize and get a nice workout.
Classes run through Oct. 25 and are offered at more than a dozen neighborhood parks throughout the city. Registration is open now.
