Morris Heights drivers say unfair ticketing costing them time, money

Neighbors in Morris Heights are beyond frustrated with what they call unfair ticketing on their block that they say is costing them both time and money.
Avery Wilder says parking on Cedar Avenue has become a nightmare. He was ticketed for $115 this past Monday for parking in a spot that was not restricted at the time.
The sign he saw showed parking was prohibited for construction in September from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., but Wilder says he was ticketed at 2 a.m. this past Monday.
New metal signs have been posted that say, "No standing anytime for temporary construction," contradicting the signs posted days before.
News 12 reached out to the New York City Department of Transportation for information regarding this issue and is waiting for a response.
