The suspected shot-callers in the murder of Bronx teen Lesandro "Junior" Guzman Feliz were back in court Monday-- preparing to go on trial.
Diego Suero aka "Psycho" is said to be the alleged leader and Frederick Then aka "Colita" the second in charge of the Bronx Los Sures set of the Trinitarios gang.
Suero is accused of ordering his set to attack a rival set the night Junior was stabbed to death in June 2018. During the first trial, Kevin Alvarez- one of Junior's attackers- testified that Then ordered him to drag the 15-year-old out of the bodega in which he was seeking refuge.
Detective Oscar Rosa testified during Monday's hearing on the police raid of Suero's apartment where he was with his wife and kids.
Suero's lawyer, Jorge Guttlein, had already been representing Suero in a gun possession case when he was charged in the Junior case.
Supporters of Junior say they will not rest until justice is fully served. They say that means more than a dozen men will have to pay the price in court.
The first five defendants received life sentences earlier this month.
The pretrial hearing has been adjourned until Friday. News 12 is told a date will be chosen for jury selection.
