Police seek man who punched woman on 5 train

Police are looking for a man in connection with an assault that happened on a northbound 5 train last month.

It happened back on Oct. 22 near the East 180th Street subway station.

According to police, a 48-year-old woman got into an argument with the suspect and it turned physical.

They say the man started punching the woman in the head and torso. He ran away once the train stopped.

The victim suffered pain and bruising.
