A vigil was held Friday night at the Bronx River Houses to remember a seven-year-old boy who died days after falling out of a window in his Soundview home.

Kingston Spencer had down syndrome and fell out of the window of his ninth-floor apartment at the Bronx River Houses on Saturday, Nov. 9.

Police officials said he pushed past the air conditioner and fell through the window.

He survived the fall but was in critical condition at NYC Health + Hospitals/ Jacobi, until he passed away on Wednesday afternoon.

Kingston Spencer's mother donated his organs and five people will be able to live because of him.

Many loved ones were in attendance with purple balloons and candles. They say he lit up every room he walked into.

His mother said she wants to get a law of some sort passed where families with special needs children cannot live in buildings above the third floor.

The funeral will be on Sunday, Nov. 17 at Ortiz Funeral Home.
