Families in a Mott Haven apartment building say they are fed up with what they are calling "unsuitable living" conditions.

Families at the Diego Beekman Apartments on East 141st Street say they have been living without gas or hot water since August.

Con Edison tells News 12 that the gas was turned off on Nov. 3 due to leaks, and that the utility is waiting for management to make repairs to restore gas to the building. Tenants say they have reached out to management with no resolution. 

News 12 reached out repeatedly over the phone to the management company and was told by the office someone would get back in touch.
