Hundreds of families went to the Mott Haven Bar and Grill Monday to pick up a Thanksgiving box.

Bronx Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. greeted the long line that stretched down the block.

Music legend Slick Rick and singer Angelica Vila were on hand helping to hand out boxes packed with apples, cranberry sauce, green beans and turkey.

The donations were made possible by a partnership with online food grocer FreshDirect and the food bank City Harvest.

FreshDirect donates more than 1 million pounds of food to the organization in a typical year.
