At a young age, one Bronx girl is owning her differences by sharing them with the world.

Standing at 5 feet 6 inches and 181 pounds, 7-year-old Elizabeth Ross wants the public to listen to her and treat her as any other child.

About a year and a half ago, Ross was diagnosed with precocious puberty or very early onset puberty.

“I was like are you kidding me? Seven? That's too fast and too much,” says Ross.

Besides big growth spurts since she was 5 years old, Ross also experienced mood swings and feeling uncomfortable with the changes to her body, especially being so much bigger than other children in her class.

To help her through her own experience she wrote about it in the book "The Giant In Me."

“She thinks it’s important and she believed in herself to say mommy ‘I want to write a book because I want my classmates, I want everyone to know,’” says her mother, Geraldine Ross.

She also talks about her condition on her YouTube page where she explains her symptoms, sharing feelings about different doctors’ appointments and her journey with precocious puberty.
 
"I'm so proud of her, 7 years old and she's telling her own story? It's impressive," says Geraldine Ross.

Standing tall in who she is and pointing out that everyone has their own giant.

“I can help others if they can't reach something. I’ll get it for them, then boom, we're best friends forever,” says Ross.
