Police: 16-year-old boy beaten, robbed by group in the Bronx

Police say a group of boys are wanted for beating and robbing a 16-year-old in the Bronx last Tuesday.

They say the victim was walking home with a relative when he was approached by the group, who asked him if he was part of a gang.

Police say the group then punched and slashed the teen, causing him to suffer a head injury and several cuts. The group also stole the victim's necklace before running off.

Officers say the victim was admitted to the hospital to be treated and has been released.
