On Giving Tuesday, children at a Fordham school got the gift of reading and a surprise visit from a special guest.
Bank of America and the organization Book Trust linked up with first graders at P.S. 85 to bring new books as a way to promote student literacy.
The kids were even visited by Clifford the Big Red Dog as part of the big day.
Through a partnership with Scholastic Book Clubs, each student got to pick two books they wanted to order. Anything from "Frozen" to NBA star Stephen Curry's book were popular picks.
Bank of America says it will match donations of up to $25,000 to Book Trust on Tuesday.
