Soundview shopping plaza has a new look, name after months of renovations

After months of renovations, a Soundview shopping plaza has a new look and a new name.
For about 18 months, the 63,000 square-foot shopping center was under renovation after a pharmacy storefront collapsed back in April. This caused an evacuation.
Owners Cory and Sarene Sahnus spent months dealing with the city's Building Department to square away the proper paperwork for permits to start construction on a new facade wall for all 10 occupying stores.
Businesses in the area say they are relieved to see the scaffolding finally come down. They say they hope the changes will bring foot traffic back to the plaza.
