Police are looking for a man accused of stealing packages right off of people's front porches in two different neighborhoods in the Bronx.
On Nov. 27, police say the man went into a home near Seminole Avenue and Pawnee Place in Morris Park and allegedly removed a box with $300 worth of goods in it. Police say it was caught on surveillance video.
News 12 is told the same man also struck again in Throgs Neck, just days later on Nov. 30. Police say he was seen wearing a bright yellow and orange security vest, but this time walking down Hutchinson River Parkway North. They say he was taking another package from a family's front porch.
"With that shirt on, you think he's a delivery guy. What are you going to do? You gotta keep your eyes open," said Morris Park resident Mike Salveggi.
Meanwhile, over in University Heights, another man seems to be going around stealing packages from residents' front doors. A video from Ring.com shows a man police say removed a package from a house near Clinton Place and Grand Avenue.
They say it happened on Tuesday at around 6:30 p.m. The homeowner tells News 12 that the thief took her nephew's Christmas present-- which was worth about $72.
