Police say a man is wanted in connection to an attempted robbery at an Allerton gas station last Wednesday.

They say a 63-year-old man was pumping gas at the Gulf station at 2290 Boston Rd. when the suspect came up behind him, pushed him against his car and attempted to remove his wallet.

The victim resisted and the attacker ran off empty-handed.
