Trader Joe’s branded egg white, potato salads recalled due to possible listeria

Posted: Updated:

Trader Joe's has issued a recall for potential listeria in their brands of egg white salad and potato salad.

The company announced that the Trader Joe's Egg White Salad and Trader Joe's Old Fashioned Potato Salad with a use-by date up through and including Dec. 27, 2019 may have the potential to be contaminated with Listeria monocytogenes.

No illnesses have been reported for the potentially affected products.

The involved products were removed from store shelves.

In a statement on its company website, Trader Joe's says: "If you have any of these products within the specified date codes, please do not eat it. Instead, we urge you to discard the product or return it to any Trader Joe's for a full refund."

Anyone with questions can call the company's customer relations at 626-599-3817.
