Police: 1 wounded in Bailey Avenue shooting

A shooting between two NYCHA employees at the Fort Independence Houses put one of them in the hospital Monday, according to the Tenants Association president.
Tenants Association President Barbara Lauray says all of this could have been avoided if NYCHA removed the shooter from his position after being reported multiple times in the past.
Police say the 43-year-old victim was shot around 2:15 p.m. after a dispute. They say a NYCHA employee shot his supervisor as the supervisor was writing him up.
News 12 is told this happened on the third floor of the building. Lauray says the super is an amazing man and that what was done to him shouldn't have happened to anyone.
She also says many of the tenants have requested to move out and transfer because of the alleged shooter's behavior.
Police say the victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital. They say the victim is in stable condition.
Police say the suspect fled the scene, possibly in an SUV
