Dozens of families are displaced after a three-alarm fire ripped through a NYCHA building in Concourse Village Thursday.
News 12 is told at least 12 families are displaced after the flames ravaged through the six-story building on Findlay Avenue around 6:40 p.m.
The building suffered extensive damage, especially the roof of the building. Firefighters say they had to cut through to get near the cornice, an area where the roof meets the wall, which is where firefighters first saw smoke coming out from. 
Over 100 firefighters reported to the scene and the flames were under control within an hour.
Some neighboring apartments were also damages. The Red Cross was on scene Thursday to assists with the displaced tenants.
No injuries were reported and the fire in now under investigation.
