Police say a shooting in Morrisania Monday put two people in the hospital.

Police tell News 12 the shooting victims are men. They say the men were driving in the area when they heard gunshots and felt pain.

About 10 bullet casings were found by police. Police say they discovered the first victim, a 26-year-old man, around 1:45 p.m. near East 163rd Street with a gunshot wound to his back.

The victim was taken to St. Barnabas Hospital.

The second victim, a 25-year-old man, suffered a gunshot wound to his left hand and got to NYC Health + Hospitals/Lincoln on his own.

Police say they are both being uncooperative with the investigation and are expected to be OK.
